Wish TFO was in Melbourne?
Tile Factory Outlet welcomes all customers, we get customers from all over Australia. Recently we have been getting many from Melbourne. Yet still, many think that It’s all too hard and buy from their overpriced Melbourne based store.
The information below is designed to assist you in deciding to select tiles from TFO Sydney and then get them down to you with the minimum fuss.
For our Melbourne customers we have a special option, we will give you the contact of one of our directors, Len Franco. Len has been in the tile industry for over 40 years. He has an Italian heritage and specializes in Italian tiles, Italian Carrara, Spanish Crema Marfil and Turkish travertine. His number is 0413 308 234. He will walk you through your order from start to finish. The best thing to do is call him, he will help you decide on what your best options are and how much you will save.
To explain all this, I thought I would tell you of some stories of our customers from Melbourne thus far.
One of our customers was building a hostel type accommodation in St. Kilda. Due to her high quality tastes in style, her project was running over budget. She wanted to add to the investment and as it was in St Kilda decided to go for travertine. She saw our prices online and realized instead of costing her close to $100,000 locally, she could buy a similar product from TFO at about half the price. The result was that she flew up to Sydney and was offered some transport to TFO from the airport. She then went for a slightly higher grade travertine than what she had originally had in mind. This meant that for about $56,000 including the flight to Sydney and transportation she got better than what she had hoped for. Can you imagine saving $44,000 and getting better product than what you had hoped for?
Another customer bought for a small job on the western side of Melbourne. He bought 100m2 of Italian porcelain. It was not worth his while to fly up for just 2 pallets of porcelain tiles. He requested a small 200x200mm tile sample. The Italian tile was worth about $80m2 locally. However, he bought it at TFO for $35m2. The saving was circa $4,500 before transport. He used Pickering’s transport to the Sunshine depot, then he picked it up from there, they charged him $350, it would have been a hundred or so more delivered to site but he was trying to save and picked it up in his ute (2 trips)(Delivery info). So that was a total saving of over $4,000. Freight for him worked out at $3.50m2, (nothing compared to the saving)
May I suggest you order 12% for cutting instead of 10% for porcelain tiles and 15% for natural stone, just in case a couple of tiles break on the 800km journey. Apart from that, we see no down side. Why not find out more by calling Len on 0413308234.
